Leaving Las Vegas

2nd last vegas post 2

We spent the morning of our second (and last full) day in Vegas swimming, then headed over to David's house where we met up with the rest of the family.  David grilled and his Aunt Ginny made home made french fries (SO good!) and a great spread of food that everyone just munched on all day while David's friends came by to meet his family.

Matthew and Andrew climbed the tree out front....

I really enjoyed visiting with Dan's Aunt Pat and Aunt Ginny.  Here they are pictured with Winnie.  Pat is center and Ginny on the right.  They travelled in from North Dakota.

Here we all are.  Me, Pat, Ginny, Brendan (Ginny's husband who is from Ireland), David (Dan's brother), Carl, Winnie and Dan.  And the kids ~ just before they went swimming.

It was just a relaxing day.  We took the kids to the pool across the street and then headed back to get the kids to bed and pack for home.

The next morning we got up and after checking out, headed to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch. I love their lettuce wraps!

It's a really fun restaurant, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch and then headed off to the airport!

And now, I apologize to the men reading this but I have a little intimate tip for my lady friends.  The dress I was wearing above, has a bit of a plunging neckline and I'm a little more on the modest side...(in the book "The Help" one of the ladies says, "Bosoms are for bathrooms and bedrooms."  Not in Vegas!  Dan said I was probably the only lady in town trying to cover up. :))  Anyway, a lot of shirts and dresses are now cut like that.  But before I left on our trip I found this "Bandeau" that you can wear alone or actually over your bra (again, sorry guys) and so it looks like a tank top under your dress, but without the extra straps or bulk.  Just thought I'd share.... :)  I'd attach the link, but the Nordstrom site is down.  So here is a photo.  They have them there for $18.

After all, it's not completely off topic to end a post about Las Vegas with a half nude lady, right? :)

Awesome! Not all all an expected topic from you but completely helpful and very much on track with a Vegas theme!
