Camera Information & A Silly Girl

I've had a couple people ask what camera/lens I use. I shoot with a Canon Rebel XTi and the lens I use most is a Canon EFS 17-55mm. I really like it a lot. I also have a Canon 55mm 1.4 It's a great one too, I especially like it for still photos but I find that my favorite subjects are always on the move so it helps me to have a zoom lens. :) But I have to admit I don't know enough of the technicalities of photography to know if it wasn't that great!

And now I have to record a memory of Kaitlin who is 2 going on 12. Yesterday morning she was coming down the stairs and called out to me,

"Hey Mom! Check this out!!"

SERIOUSLY?

I couldn't believe that came out of her mouth. Clearly she has older siblings. Matthew spoke so sweetly when he was two. Sigh.

Then I put the little lady down for a nap in the outfit that you see in the post below. And when I went into her room, I opened the door and here is Kaitlin dressed like this:

Notice the dress is on inside out and backwards? :)

She keeps my life entertaining, that's for sure!

She looks up at me and says, "Hi Mom."

(What is up with this 'Mom' business? I'm 'Mama'! :)

It was such a surprise to see her dressed like that (complete with sun hat!) and I walked around to see this:

I had been transitioning her closet to fall/winter clothing and moving out summer and had stacked some tubs of things next to her crib until I could get back to the project. She helped herself to a new outfit! She is so funny.

I'm going to be making a birthday cake for a very special little FIVE year old today! Matthew helped me design it and he's so excited about the theme that he wants to help. I'm going to have to get creative. :)
