We celebrated Grace's second birthday last weekend.
Grace is so special to us. She was born just shy of 2 months before Kaitlin and it's been such fun to watch them grow together and from a very early age really know and love one another! I know Grace will be spending a lot of time here in the years to come and I'm just so happy with the thought of getting to watch her grow up and be a part of her life. She is a very happy, mild mannered little girl. Her personality is a nice complement to Kaitlin's. The two of them have such fun together.

Shannon made this darling cake for Grace's birthday. I thought it turned out beautifully.
The sweetest moment came when we put the girls on the ottoman to take a photo and they put their little cheeks together and just sat there! It was so sweet. (And a minor miracle that Kaitlin sat still for that long!)
Kaitlin had enough sitting and got down and shared a Birthday hug with Grace.
The big kids also have a great time together. (It is such a tremendous blessing to have friends where you like the couple and the kids get along well too!) Here they are dancing for the video camera. Then they'd watch it and laugh. They were so funny.
And a cute photo Shannon took and sent to me. Kaitlin thought Auntie Shannon's cake was the best!
