We were lucky to have Grammie and Grandpa come to stay with us for a few days this week. They were here during our busiest days of the week so they participated in what I think of as "Mad Monday and Terrible Tuesday." I'm so happy when "Wonderful Wednesday" arrives!
Anyway, Grandpa went out to get Matthew at the bus stop one afternoon while Andrew and Kaitlin kept watch. It was so cute seeing them standing in the window watching for Matthew and Grandpa to return. They LOVE to get Matthew from the bus. Kaitlin is always thrilled to be getting on her coat and shoes. Matthew often runs to her first for a hug. She squeals when she sees the bus coming up the hill and Andrew runs after it to greet his brother. It's really a sweet part of the day.
Andrew left his look out point because he found something that needed to be climbed into.
But Kaitlin persevered. You can see the bus in the background of the photo. It arrived!
