Friday, May 9th was our 10th anniversary. Dan's parents offered to come down and watch the kids so we could go out to celebrate. We went to one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Portland on the waterfront. The last time we had the opportunity to go there was for my 31st birthday when I was expecting Andrew! So it really was a special treat. The weather was beautiful and it was so wonderful to have a chance to sit together, have an uniterrupted conversation, and enjoy the view of the river. We had a wonderful time.
Here we are 10 years ago...
And on our Anniversary....
10 years into our marriage, we've built a really beautiful life that I love. Of course it isn't perfect, and we have our own challenges, but I feel so incredibly blessed to have the husband and children that I have. I won't embarrass my husband by saying too much...he knows how wonderful I think he is and how deeply I love him. Happy 10th Anniversary, sweetheart!!
